Perhaps [...]]]> The end of July marked the 12th year that I have photographed at the Sunderland International Airshow. I have been doing it long enough now that changes in fashion are becoming evident in my pictures – mobile phones began to appear everywhere, haircuts changed, and this year beards appeared for the first time. Perhaps the only thing that remains constant is the military recruitment, and the undertones of war and violence.

My picture making becomes sparser each time around, so perhaps I need to take a year off? But there again what might I miss?
