The prints that you can now purchase through this online gallery are of the same high quality as you will find hanging on the wall in any of Rogers retail outlets.
All of the photographs available here are printed onto a satin matt Fuji Crystal Archive Paper by a professional laboratory using the latest photo-digital laser printers, giving an archival life of 60 years. This is a true photographic print onto light sensitive paper with a tonal range that exceeds that of traditional Cibachrome prints
They are then double mounted using either a white or a cream hand cut conservation grade mount depending upon the colours within the image. The inner mount may be of a complimentary colour that enhances the overall presentation.
The mounted picture is then named, signed and numbered in pencil by Roger, before being wrapped in cellophane and dispatched to your address. The whole process is supervised by Roger to ensure the very highest levels of presentation are met.

Please note that the sizes of both the print and also of the finished mounted picture are listed underneath the images in the gallery, but very slight variations may occur due to the bespoke nature of the process.
As with any photographic product it is advisable to display your pictures in subdued light and away from moisture. We also recommend that you use a professional framing company to best present and preserve your prints.
Please note that for any orders placed from outside the UK, we only supply un-mounted prints. The edition number will be marked alongside Rogers signature. The print will be sent to you rolled in a cardboard tube.
Framing & Collection Services
We can organise the framing of your selected picture in either a reclaimed raw oak or a black wooden frame as requested. Unfortunately we do not dispatch framed pictures through the post, but it is possible for you to collect framed items from Roger in person with prior notice. Please e-mail or call us for additional information and for prices on a cost effective and convenient service we believe is second to none.
Photogravures
These hand made intaglio prints have been individually created by Roger in print studios in Edinburgh and Newcastle upon Tyne. By combining photography with modern polymer printmaking techniques, he creates unique pieces of art that have a tonal richness and timeless characteristics that cannot be replicated in any computer!
The photogravures are created after etching ink is forced into grooves and lines on a steel plate. This plate is then placed onto dampened acid free paper before being rolled through a traditional Rochat etching press. Every individual print bears the imprint of the plate into the paper, but also the subtle marks left behind by the hand and expression of the maker. They are printed on the finest printmaking paper, and sold with hand torn deckled edges.
Prints are sold in strict editions comprising a small number of artists proofs (no more than 10% of the total edition size) and the numbered edition prints. They are all printed by Roger.
Please note that these are not photographs, and you should treat them as you would for example a painting or an old etching. They should be framed after advice from a professional framer using only archival materials.
Prints are sold un-mounted and will be posted in a strong flat box or in sheets of cardboard. As with all Rogers work they come with a certificate of guarantee.

At this point Paypal will take you through a series of easy steps that allow you to quickly make payment. This is a secure encrypted system that allows you to pay with your Credit or Debit card.

We normally answer acknowledge your orders within 72 hours and you will be notified of an approximate delivery date for your pictures. If you are buying as a gift please allow plenty of time to allow for the vagaries of both the post and of Rogers work schedule which does take him out of the country.
Please note that colours and contrast may vary from those as viewed on this website depending upon the calibration and type of your monitor. However the pictures shown on these pages are low-resolution scans of extremely high quality originals.
