Hi Roger,

I’ve only come across Yamamoto’s work in the last couple of months but I really like it a lot. Thanks for an excuse to watch the video again. His whole aesthetic appeals to me with his small, tea-toned, worn and dog eared prints which have been carried in his pocket for a month or two before being shown to anyone. A true original.

  It was your nudge that reminded me about the quality of his images, so thank you. Youtube has some good videos of him working and laying out pictures.
  There is a lot to be said for small prints, particularly in an age of “austerity”. Yamamoto’s exhibitions look very interesting, with many unique unframed prints in odd groupings and flowing lines within the gallery spaces.
